Adrian Vitelleschi Cook
Adrian was raised in the Middle East to British and Italian/Brazilian parents. He started taking photographs as a result of feeling frustrated at a lack of freedom whilst studying Architecture at university. He was soon featured by the British Journal of Photography (via ‘FILTR’, a sub-publication) as a rising star of digital/smart-phone photography. Ever an iconoclast, he soon turned away from digital photography, fully embracing and falling love with analogue film, mainly shooting medium format (6x45 and 6x7).
Today he is carving a path in the world of video production and makes time between creating personal projects (and touring with bands he drums for) by working in and around press and fashion photography. His eclectic upbringing informs an even-handed conscientiousness in his subjects as characterised by a visceral warmth and sense of timelessness.
